Stephan LeCompte, 32, of Granite City, IL entered the Spirit World on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at Granite City.
Stephan is survived by his father, Doug LeCompte, Sr. of Rapid City, and mother, Sheila Roseman Mitchell of Pocahontas, IL; maternal grandfather, Dickie Jo Roseman and maternal grandmother, Stella Embich, both of Granite City; paternal uncle, Dugan Thompson of Eagle Butte and paternal aunts Anne LeCompte of Timber Lake, Rhea LeCompte of LaPlant, Mary Jane Ducheneaux, Jerri (Casey) LaPlante and Jacqueline (Smokey) Frost of Eagle Butte; maternal uncles Chad Roseman and Jason Roseman of Granite City, and maternal aunts, Kelley Roseman and Rene Roseman-Williams of Granite City.
A memorial service was held Monday, January 8, 2024 at Rooks Funeral Services at Star Nation Center in Eagle Butte. The burial of cremains will take place at a later date.
