Alana R. Marshall, 45, of Eagle Butte passed away Monday, September 20, 2021 at CHI St. Alexius Health Bismarck Medical Center, Bismarck, ND.
Funeral services were held September 25, 2021 at the CRST Pow-Wow Grounds at Eagle Butte. Burial was in St. James Episcopal Cemetery, Bear Creek.
Alana Rachel “Coco” Marshall was born May 8, 1976 in Eagle Butte to Amelia Howard and John Marshall. She was raised in Bear Creek with her brothers, James, Joseph, and Brandon. For a brief time, she lived with Barbara Marshall. In her early years, Alana traveled the U.S. until moving back to Bear Creek. She attended Cheyenne-Eagle Butte School and later received her G.E.D. Alana loved to help family, friends, and her grandparents, Vern and Connie Howard.
She married Kendall Charger Sr. in 1997.
Alana was a hard worker, bead maker, singer, a mother who loved her kids, and a grandmother. Alana was a woman with a kind heart, strong will, and was sometimes very stubborn. She liked to laugh and joke around.
She is survived by her daughter Taylor (John) LaSalle; sons Chris Marshall, Chris Charger, James Charger, and Kendall Charger Jr.; grandchildren Mateo, Adonis, Anthony, and John; brothers Jeremy Howard, and Joseph and Brandon Marshall; and aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother James; and hunka family Marcie, Karen, Ivan, and Murkie.
Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg was in charge of arrangements.
