Bernadine (“Happy”) Makes Him First, 89, of White Horse passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Avantara Nursing Home in Rapid City. Funeral services under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge are pending due to the weather.
Bernadine Makes Him First Norman was born on November 1, 1933 in White Horse to Thomas and Jennie Makes Him First. She had three sisters and one brother, Julia Traversie and two daughters and three sons, all deceased; Marcella Makes Him First Swan, and one daughter and two sons, deceased; Theresa End of Horn Swan, still living; Rhonda Blue Coat, deceased and two daughters, still living. She is survived by her one son, Rex who was born on October 3, 1951. She lived many years in Chicago, IL.
