Catherine Lois “Cathy” Drageset, 70, died Sunday, January 9, 2022 at her residence in Thermopolis, WY after a period of declining health.
Born November 16, 1951 in Thermopolis, she was one of four children of Saul and Jene (Spinus) Larson. She worked in her parents’ drugstore for several years. A caregiver for much of her life, she later acquired her CNA degree of which she was most proud.
Cathy was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Eagles Lodge and BPOE. Her joy was any outdoor activities and gardening.
On July 8, 2009 she married Darrell Drageset, formerly of Isabel, in Thermopolis, where the couple continued to reside.
Family cherishing her memory include her husband of 12 years; children, Jim Jeunehomme of Thermopolis and Deanna Culp of Powell; sisters, Laree Earl of New Hill, NC and Sharon Fink of Issaquah, WA; grandchildren Trevor, Riley and Courtney and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Saul and Jene Larson and brother, Scott Larson.
No services are planned at this time.
