Debbie C. Hill, 67, of Lemmon passed away at her home on Friday, September 10, 2021.
Graveside services were held September 15, 2021 at the Hillview Cemetery at Isabel.
Debbie spent some of her younger years with her older brothers and sister. Due to an unfortunate tragedy, they were all placed into foster care. She came to live with the Miller family at Isabel at a young age and it didn’t take long and she fit right in. She helped balance the girls against the boys. Debbie attended school in Isabel, was a member of the drill team and graduated from Isabel High School in 1972. She attended business college in Aberdeen for a short time.
Debbie moved to Lemmon, where she raised her sons Cody and Peter. She worked at Five Counties Hospital for 23 years.
She enjoyed decorating the nursing home for all the holidays for the residents to enjoy. She loved playing pool and was quite the pool shark. Debbie was blessed to be able to spend time with her granddaughter, Ezra.
Debbie is survived by her four sons, Cody, Peter, Anthony and Aaron; her foster mom, Phyllis Miller; nine brothers: Elliot Whiteshield, Delano Cook, Amos Cook, Claude Haugen, Myron Erhardt, Bugsy Erhardt, and Loren, Jerome and Jim Miller; four sisters: Denise Cook, Jacki Haugen Baumeister, Pixie Haugen and Marlene Stewart; her granddaughter, Ezra; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Lisa; son Allen; two brothers, Robert Whiteshield and Martin Whiteshield; and two sisters, Charlotte Whiteshield Sebert and Mary Whiteshield.
