Funeral services for Edward Veo, 23, of Timber Lake were held Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Timber Lake Community Center. Burial was at St. Mary’s Episcopal Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home.
Edward passed away May 11, 2022 at Monument Health in Rapid City.
He was born on September 12, 1998 in Pierre to Jeff and Carla (Makes Him First) Veo.
Eddy went to Timber Lake Head Start, Timber Lake Elementary School and Little Eagle Day School from grade 6 through 8th grade. During elementary school he liked to play football with his brothers and older cousins. Eddy was always quiet, stuck to himself and stayed out of trouble. He liked to play video games, watch videos on his phone and skateboarding. He also enjoyed reading. Everyone will remember Eddy for his shy, quiet and humble personality. Eddy is survived by his parents, Jeff and Carla Veo; brothers Jeff Veo, Jr., Carleton (Kelli) Veo, Leighton Veo; very special brother/nephew Devante Veo; nephews CJ Veo, Tobias Veo, and Markus Veo; niece River Veo, and his grandmother, Helmina.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Verdell Veo and Carl Makes Him First, and uncles Bill Veo and Wilbur Makes Him First.
