James A. Tompkins, 68, of Findlay, OH passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Blanchard Valley Hospital.
Jim was born on October 11, 1952 to Leo and Violet (Pratt) Tompkins. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and graduated from South Dakota State University. He went on to become a teacher and retired after many years of service. He was a member of the Charis Bible College in Ann Arbor and the City on a Hill Church.
Jim is survived by his sons, Lucas and Dustin (Nicole) Tompkins; grandchildren Austin, Ashlyn, Alexis, Lynelee, and Rhemi; brothers Larry and Bernie Tompkins; and sisters Lois Tompkins and Bernadine Steichen.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie (Palenske) Tompkins; and a brother, Randy Tompkins.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the Hufford Family Funeral Home in Findlay.
