Jory Wolf, 31, of Eagle Butte began her journey to the spirit world Monday, December 19, 2022, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Eagle Butte. Burial followed in the Eagle Butte Cemetery.
Jory Teddy Seirs was born October 16, 1991 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. She was the youngest of the family. When she was a little girl Jory enjoyed riding her bike, skateboarding, and her pogo stick. When she was a teenager Jory liked to be with her friends and cousins. When she stayed inside, she liked to write about her day and the places she wanted to visit and all the concerts she would go to. After graduating from high school in 2010, Jory married Trastin Longbrake. They had four beautiful daughters: Alexis Loren, Amazyn Lou Raquel, Eveleigh Pystal Allison, and Rowan Kohal Longbrake. Jory worked temporarily as a dental assistant. She enjoyed her time there and making friends with the staff. She also worked at the homeless shelter. She liked meeting different people, and she was interested in all the stories they told her.
Jory leaves behind her four daughters; her parents, Charlotte Wolf and Bill Seirs; brothers and sisters Dain W. Curley, Arlana Running Wolf, Lynn Running Wolf, Sara Condon, Tina Seirs, Billie Jo Seirs, Tessa Seirs, and Aaron Seirs; and many cousins and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Eva Roberts; grandfather, Francis Running Wolf; and auntie, Carol Moran.
