October 3, 1940 – October 22, 2023
Leona Lee Reum Peck of Reno, NV passed away on October 22, 2023, due to complications from a sepsis infection. She made the decision to go to her son’s home in Vacaville, CA for hospice care on October 20, 2023.
Leona was born October 3, 1940 at Mobridge. Her parents are Blanche and William (Bill) Reum. She graduated from Timber Lake High School in 1958. She met William (Bill) Peck while he was in the Marines and they were married on November 28, 1959, in Oahu, Hawaii. They lived in Lead, SD and then permanently relocated to Reno, NV. She worked as an account representative and computer operator for Hospital Collections Services under the direction of the St. Mary’s Hospital in Reno.
She gave birth to two children, son James and daughter Cynthia (Tia). James and his wife Ina have two children, Jesse and Jasmine.
Leona will be remembered by her classmates and friends for her delightful sense of humor and her amazing artistic talents.
