Mary Margaret Goldade, 94, of Rapid City passed away on August 27, 2023 at Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City.
She was born January 5, 1929 in Wakpala to Frank and Magdelene (Schmaltz) Selzler.
On November 28, 1950, Mary married Leopold “Leo” Goldade in Timber Lake. They had three daughters, Mary Ann, Dianne, and Dorothy. The family lived on a farm until Leo was employed by Moreau- Grand Electric in Timber Lake.
Mary loved to take care of her family. She was a seamstress for all of her kids, and the town of Timber Lake. After Leo retired, they moved to Rapid City to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her children, Mary Ann Carroll, Diane Plummer, and Dorothy Avveduto; and grandchildren Angelina Plummer and Zachariah (Abby) Plummer.
