Funeral services for Mary Jane Miller, 73, of Timber Lake were held Sunday June 26, 2022 at the St. Joseph’s Church in Cherry Creek.
Mary Jane passed away on June 17, 2022 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, KS. Oster Funeral Home of Eagle Butte was in charge of arrangements.
Mary Jane Crow was born in a log house in Cherry Creek on November 17, 1948 to Patrick Crow and Rosina Ruth Bell. She attended the Cherry Creek Day School until 8th grade. She then attended the 9th and 10th grade at the School for the Blind in Aberdeen.
Mary was the mother of 12 children: Trudell, Mary, Suzie, Rydell, Durell, Bert Jr., Lloydell, Jesse, Vallen, Patrick, Remo and Jace.
Mary enjoyed going to the casino, shopping (especially at Good Will), thrift stores, garage sales, and traveling. She loved traveling with her family and could sit in a car for hours enjoying the road and music. She enjoyed cooking home-cooked meals for her family and friends. She was a very generous person and would go out of her way to help family and friends.
