Patricia “Patty” Red Horse, 64, of Eagle Butte entered the Spirit World on Friday, July 7, 2023 at MacNeal-Loyola Hospital in Chicago, IL.
Patricia “Patty” Ann Red Horse was born April 7, 1959, in Rapid City to Gladyce Red Horse and Wayne Sleeping Bear/Whiting and was later raised by her grandma, whom she thought very highly of.
Patty married Timothy D. Rodgers and had six children: David, Tonda, Timothy, Lisa, Joselyn and Micah. Later in life, Patty visited Chicago, where she spent the remainder of her years.
Patty is preceeded in death by her parents; two sons, David and Micah; and her siblings Wayne Gilbert Red Horse, Mary Ann Red Horse, and Rose Marie Red Horse (Ghost); cousins Bonnie, Birdie, Kathy, and Connie; and nieces and nephews Joe, Guy Jr. (Ziggy), Amorette, Sondra, and Isaac.
Patty is survived by four children, Tonda, Timothy, Lisa, Joselyn; grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Burial of cremains will take place at a later date at the Green Grass Community Cemetery at Green Grass.
