Patrick Gordon Quinn, a licensed agent for Esurance Insurance Co., died Saturday, December 10, 2022 at his home in Sioux Falls with his sons by his side. He was 61 years old.
A funeral Mass is planned for April 16, 2023 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Timber Lake.
Patrick Gordon Quinn was born May 21, 1961 to Francis Hugh Quinn and MaDonna Katherine (Senger) Quinn of Timber Lake. He attended Holy Cross Catholic School and graduated from Timber Lake High School in 1979. He attended South Dakota State University in Brookings where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Agriculture.
On June 9, 1984, he was united in marriage with Tamara “Tami” Mouw in Timber Lake. The couple resided in Sioux Falls. Circumstances happened and the couple parted, but continued as co-parents and friends.
Patrick was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and the Army National Guard. He enjoyed singing with the SDSU Statesmen Vocal Ensemble and cantoring in the church. He was an avid reader and always enjoyed cooking for family and friends. “Home Free” music was always on at the house.
Grateful for having shared his life are his children: a step-daughter, Samantha (Jake) Bymers; two sons, Jacob Quinn and Connor Quinn; his grandchildren: Jason, Nathan, Oliver and Henry, all of Sioux Falls; his parents, Frank and Donna Quinn of Timber Lake; his siblings, Tim Quinn of Faulkton, Marty (Tammie) Quinn of Rapid City, Ken (Sharon) Quinn of Timber Lake, Ron (Jennie) Quinn of Piedmont, Doug (Heidi) Quinn of Bismarck, ND, Jennifer (Kevin) Mercado of Denver, CO, and Aimee (Shannon) Copas of Bismarck; and 25 nieces and nephews.
