Renee McLaughlin, 73, of White Horse passed away Monday, May 8, 2023 at Medicine Wheel Village in Eagle Butte.
Funeral ser vices were held Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Emmanuel Episcopal Church at White Horse. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Renee Sue Iron Wing was born September 9, 1949, at the Old Agency to George Gilford and Pearl (Defender) Iron Wing.
She loved staying home, caring for her mother and her husband, watching golf and Wheel of Fortune on TV, playing cards or bingo, doing Sudoku puzzles, or just visiting with family and friends.
Renee is survived by her son, Corey James Traversie; grandchildren Ashtyn Miner and Tacoma and Oliviah Traversie; sister Hazel Traversie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Pearl Iron Wing; husband Mike McLaughlin; brothers Robert, Gilford “Jug Head”, Morris, and Chauncey Iron Wing; and sisters Georgiann Claymore, Marlene Iron Wing, Debbie Ducheneaux, and Carrie Iron Wing.
Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg was in charge of arrangements.
