Funeral services for Ruth Gifford were held Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at the UCC Church in Isabel with burial at Hillview Cemetery at Isabel.
Ruth May Blowers was born November 21, 1934 in Northville, NY to George and Bessie (Rosa) Blowers. She grew up and attended school in Northville. She married Edwin Gifford on October 17, 1954 in Mayfield, NY. From this union, three sons were born: Edwin John, Daniel Richard and Lawrence Mark. They moved to Leominster, MA in 1975. In 1980 she moved to Kingman, AZ, and then to Isabel in 2013, where she has since resided.
She is survived by three sons: Daniel (Judy) Gifford of Isabel, Lawrence (Larry) Gifford of Isabel and Edwin John (Julia) Gifford of Spring Hill, FL; a brother, Robert Blowers, two sisters-in law, Frances Blowers and Jeannie Blowers; nine grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; many cousins, nieces, nephews and her three dogs.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin; both parents; two brothers, Richard and Charles Blowers; and one sister, Florence Rice.
