Lucille Emily Berndt, 97, of Eagle Butte passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Mobridge Regional Hospital in Mobridge. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. MT at the UCC Church in Eagle Butte. Visitation will be at the church for one hour prior to the services.

Funeral services for Corey Cadotte, 51, of Wakpala will be at 11 a.m. CT Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the Wakpala School Gym. Burial will be at the Cadotte Ranch under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. There will be an all night wake with services at 7 p.m. Friday at the gym.

D’Lani M. LeCompte, 29, of Eagle Butte passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Monument Health, Rapid City. Funeral services are with Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg.

Mass of Christian Burial for Ivan LeCompte, 94, of White Horse was held January 8, 2022 at the All Saints Catholic Church in Eagle Butte. Burial was at the Timber Lake Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge.

Curtis Pfeifle

Curtis Pfeifle, 65, of Pierre died Sunday, January 2, 2022, at Avera St. Mary’s Hospital in Pierre. Curtis was born April 4, 1956, in Aberdeen to Elmer and Gertrude (Guthmiller) Pfeifle. Curtis moved to Pierre in 1979 and had various jobs throughout the years.

Catherine Lois “Cathy” Drageset, 70, died Sunday, January 9, 2022 at her residence in Thermopolis, WY after a period of declining health. Born November 16, 1951 in Thermopolis, she was one of four children of Saul and Jene (Spinus) Larson. She worked in her parents’ drugstore for several years.
