Matthew Lemke of Dupree High School captured a state championship and teammate Nevaeh Farlee claimed runnerup honors while being named Outstanding Female Lifter at the SD State Powerlifting Championships held March 1516 in Sioux Falls.
Lemke won the 220.25 weight class with a total of 1,305 pounds lifted, including a deadlift of 555 pounds.
