High school competitors compete in state qualifier

The second of two Northwest Regional Rodeos was held Friday and Saturday, June 12-13, with several area competitors punching their ticket to the South Dakota High School Finals Rodeo already underway this week in Ft. Pierre.
Area competitors posting top 10 finishes were: Bareback riding - 2. Fletcher Birkeland, Dupree, 64/67; 3. Roy Antrim, Faith, 58.
