McLaughlin-Timber Lake’s Diaz Defender captured third place in the boys 150 pound class of the Groton Wrestling Invitational held Saturday, Jan. 27 in Groton.
Defender wrestled his way back from a quarterfinal loss to win two matches by fall and claim a 10-5 decision over Beau Schilling of Ipswich/ Leola/Bowdle for consolation honors.
