Timber Lake native Ryan Deal, a reporter for 605 Sports, has been named South Dakota Sportswriter of the Year for 2022.
His selection was announced Monday, Jan. 9, by the National Sports Media Association. Deal is now a four-time recipient of the award, also winning it from 2017-2019.
