Young, Kindred in Badlands Circuit tie-down battle

    Dupree tie-down roper Trey Young claimed first place honors at the Range Days Rodeo held Aug. 22-24 in Rapid City, clocking an 8.5 second run to take home top prize of $2,420. It’s a big win for Young, who is in a late-season battle with Clint Kindred of Oral for top spot in the PRCA’s Badlands Circuit tie-down roping standings.
