Timber Lake spikers fall to Harding Co. in season opener

The Timber Lake Panthers dropped their 2025 volleyball season home opener last Thursday, Aug. 28, losing in three straight games to the visiting Harding County Ranchers.Timber Lake traveled to Cheyenne-Eagle Butte on Tuesday, Sept. 2, and plays at Bison on Thursday, Sept. 4.

Cudmore leads Tiger boys at Douglas Early Bird XC Invite

Seniors Tayshaun Cudmore and Spencer Olsen posted top 20 finishes to lead the Dupree Tiger varsity boys at the Douglas Early Bird Cross Country Invitational Friday, Aug. 29, at Prairie Ridge Golf Course.The Tigers will compete Thursday, Sept. 4, at the Redfield Invitational.

Tigers ‘Cruz’ past No. Central as senior back scores four TDs

Senior running back Cruz Birkeland racked up 170 rushing yards, scored four touchdowns, and charted 10 tackles to lead the Dupree Tigers past the North Central Thunder last Friday, Aug. 29.The win lifts Dupree to 1-1 on the season and North Central drops to 0-2.

Panthers drop season opener to Ipswich 34-7

The Ipswich Tigers dominated the time of possession and the scoreboard last Friday, Aug. 22, rolling into Timber Lake to upend the Panthers 34-7 in the 2025 football season opener for both teams.

Dupree drops 42-6 decision to Lyman in season opener

The Lyman Raiders scored early and often last Friday, Aug. 22, cruising past the Dupree Tigers 42-6 in the 2025 football season kickoff for both teams.Dupree, 0-1, will host North Central this Friday, Aug. 28.

New coach takes the helm of TL spikers

The Timber Lake Panthers head into the 2025 volleyball season on Thursday, Aug. 28, with a new head coach but familiar lineup.Mattie Cruff brings two years of varsity coaching experience in Valley City, ND, as well as a combined four years in the freshman and C-squad ranks.
