Lady Panthers spiked by Dupree, Mobridge-Pollock

Timber Lake dropped a pair of matches to local rivals in volleyball action last week, falling in a threegame sweep to Mobridge-Pollock before losing in four games to the Dupree Tigers.

Gettysburg Battler XC meet cancelled

The Timber Lake cross country team did not compete last week after the Gettysburg Battler Invitational was cancelled due to flooding on the course.The Panther runners were among those competing at the Faulkton Lakeside Invitational on Wednesday, Sept.

Herreid-Selby gridders blank Timber Lake 38-0

Timber Lake held a potent Herreid-Selby offense to a single touchdown in the first quarter but the Wolverines punched it in three more in the second frame enroute to a 38-0 shut out of the Panthers last Friday, Sept. 19, at Selby.

TL gridders cruise past Faith 45-6

Timber Lake quarterback Kanton Hunt threw for four touchdowns and ran for another while the Panther defense held Faith to just 35 total yards last Friday, Sept. 12, in a 45-6 blowout of the Longhorns at Doug Kraft Field.The win lifts the Panthers to 1-2 on the season while Faith dropped to 0-3.

C-EB boys third at Belle Fourche Invitational

The Cheyenne-Eagle Butte (CEB) Braves had four runners finish in the top 20 at the Belle Fourche Cross Country Invitational last Thursday, Sept. 11, pushing them into third place overall in the team standings.

Dupree XC at Heartland Preview

The Dupree Tiger cross country team was up against a crowd, with teams from 49 different schools on Saturday, Sept. 13, at the Heartland Preview Meet in Yankton.The Tigers will run in the Gettysburg Battler Invite on Saturday, Sept. 20 and in the Faulkton Lakeside Invitational on Monday, Sept. 29.
