White River named 2023 SDRA Rodeo of the Year

The White River Rodeo has been named the South Dakota Rodeo Association’s 2023 Rodeo of the Year while the Buffalo Labor Day Rodeo was recognized as Reserve Rodeo of the Year. ***** Huron has been selected to host the 2025 and 2026 South Dakota Rodeo Association (SDRA) Finals.

Relays lead Panthers boys to third at Sully Buttes Early Bird

The Timber Lake Panthers swept the 400, 800 and 1600 meter relays enroute to a third place overall finish on the boys side at the Sully Buttes JV/MS Early Bird Track Meet last Tuesday, April 9, in Onida. Pierre T.F. Riggs won the boys team title, followed by North Central and Timber Lake.

Track teams open season at Mobridge-Pollock Early Bird

First place finishes by speedster Gracen Hansen, Curtis Connor and the 4x200 relay team lifted the Timber Lake Panthers boys to third place overall at the Mobridge-Pollock Early Bird Track Meet last Thursday, April 4.

Pederson leads Dupree boys at Dewey Donat Track Classic

Jessup Pederson was the top pointgetter for the Dupree Tiger boys track team last Thursday, March 28, earning two top five finishes at the Dewey Donat Track Classic held at Northern State University in Aberdeen Pederson, a senior, captured second place in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:04.
