The Timber Lake’s 2023 football season came to an end last Thursday, Oct. 19, when the Panthers dropped a 52-0 decision to the high-powered Philip Scotties in the first round of the State Class 9A playoffs.

Timber Lake junior Jasmine Nash was a one-girl wrecking crew last Tuesday, Oct. 10, dominating play all over the floor to lead the Lady Panthers past Tiospaye Topa on the Thunderhawks home court. The win lifted Timber Lake to 10-12 overall as the regular season comes to a close.

The 2023 region cross country meets got underway Wednesday, Oct. 11, as this issue of the Timber Lake Topic was going to press. In Class A, the top 20 finishers and up to six runners from the top three teams at the region meet advance to the state cross country meet.
