Dupree boys third at Action Club XC Meet

Three Dupree runners posted top 20 finishes in the boys varsity division at the Action Club Cross Country Meet in Highmore on Saturday, Sept. 30, pushing the Tigers in third place overall in the team standings. Philip won the meet title with 11 points, followed by Miller at 16 and Dupree with 28.

Kosel barrels to third place finish at Cinch Playoff Series Championships

Barrel racer Summer Kosel and her horse, Apollo, finished third overall at the Cinch Playoff Series Championship Rodeo held Sept. 2830 in Sioux Falls. The Glenham cowgirl was fourth in the first round of action with a time of 14.09 seconds to bank $2,500. A time of 13.

Unbeaten Faith bumps Dupree to capture LMC tourney crown

The unbeaten Faith Longhorns - ranked No. 5 in this week’s South Dakota High School poll - beat the DupreeTigers in back-to-back matches on Saturday, Sept. 23, to win the Little Moreau Conference Volleyball Tournament championship.

Timber Lake spikers down visiting Mustangs, battle in LMC tourney

The Timber Lake Lady Panthers snapped a home-court losing skid with a Homecoming victory over the McLaughlin Mustangs last Tuesday, Sept. 19, but dropped to 5-9 overall on the season with a pair of losses in the Little Moreau Conference (LMC) Tournament held in Timber Lake on Saturday, Sept. 23.

Tiger gridders fall to Harding Co/Bison

The Dupree Tigers dropped to 2-4 on the season last week after dropping a 72-20 decision to undefeated, No. 2-ranked Harding County/Bison. The Tigers will be looking to get back on track this Friday, Sept. 29, when they host 0-6 Newell. The Irrigators are coming off a 54-0 loss to Lemmon-McIntosh.
