Zeph Jewett- I learned that penguins can swim really good and hold their breath for 10-15 minutes. Polar bears paws are really good for swimming because they have that webbed stuff.
Clara Nilson- The moms have food in their belly and feed it to their baby. I didn’t know that the dad didn’t eat for a long time when he's taking care of the egg.
Paxton Schweitzer- A penguin mom goes off to eat food for one week.
Brie Parker- The penguins’ moms feed them from their mouth.
Vern Long- I learned about polar bears that they can swim really good. About penguins that they line their mouths up with their babies to feed them.
Sophia Ley- Penguins eat fish. They hatch. They don't live in South Dakota. Why?
Tash Paxton- Penguins when they are ready to eat, their mom swallows the food up and puts it into little baby pieces and puts it into their mouth. Polar bears weigh a lot.
Piper Schrempp- The dad keeps a penguin egg in its pouch. Polar bears eat seals.
