The Timber Lake and Dupree school boards voted last Wednesday to continue in-school learning, despite an order from the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe directing all schools on the reservation to conduct classes virtually. The order went into effect a week ago when tribal officials moved to Level 4 in the CRST COVID-19 Response Plan due to community spread and the number of active coronavirus cases. …
