The Dewey County Board of Commissioners last week approved a provisional budget for 2025 which includes a $1 per hour pay increase for county employees.
The move comes a month after the board reviewed department budget proposals, including a request from Sheriff Ash Arpan for $487,965 for Sheriff ’s Office operations - a $106,000 increase over last year.
