More than 200 students from seven area schools took part in Freshman Impact - Caught in the Moment at the Timber Lake School last Thursday, Sept. 14. Besides sessions on mental health, vaping, healthy relationships, drugs and more, the students witnessed law enforcement and emergency personnel handle a mock-accident scene involving teenager drivers and passengers. To drive home the serious consequences their decisions may result in, the students also went through a casket walk and a mock court hearing.
