Every year at this time of cold and dark we celebrate the birth of a child. Doesn’t the Lord know that the dead of winter is a treacherous time to schedule a birth? No rancher in their right mind would plan calving in December! Crazy plan!
But God’s ways are not our ways. The God of creation who lovingly created us cares enough to send his Son to enter into the darkest time of our year and save us.
