A South Dakota state record walleye was caught last Friday, Oct. 27, on Lake Oahe south of Mobridge.
Aaron Schuck, 43, of Bismarck, ND caught the 16-pound eightounce fish using a Walleye Nations reaper crankbait.
He took it to Oahe Sunset Lodge to have it weighed and it was also weighed by a South Dakota Game, Fish & Parks biologist.
