Nick Rios of the company, Exo, bores into a telephone pole beneath the surface to test its integrity. Once tested, the hole is filled with a rubber plug to keep moisture out. Exo is in the area inspecting poles around Dupree, Isabel and Timber Lake for the Moreau-Grand Electric Cooperative. Rural poles were tested last year and poles in Eagle Butte will be tested next year.
