TLHS Native American Club honors grads

Eleven Native American members of the TLHS Class of 2023 were honored at a Graduation Honoring on May 1. Dean Dupris and his drum group opened the program with a prayer and the Flag Song and ended with a blessing and Honor Song. Tuffy Thompson was the guest speaker and Rhonda Swan, president of the Native American Education Committee, and Natalie Gross, president of the TLHS Native American Club, spoke. The seniors were given feathers, plumes and star quilts by family and friends. A meal prepared by Kristi Brown Otter was served.
