This week there was the first snowfall of the year in Trail City.On Saturday, Chuck and Marsha Aberle traveled to Bismarck to pick up their daughter, Mychele Smith, from Denver, at the airport. While they were in Bismarck, they also visited Carina Friesz and her family.

Dupree FFA Club competed in Fall Leadership event

The Dupree High School FFA, under the advisement of Doug Hofer, went to the fall FFA Leadership Contest where Wyatt Lemke claimed second place in the Ag Broadcasting division. Lemke is now qualified for the state competition in Rapid City in December.

Mobridge doctor named Healthcare Professional of Year

The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) celebrated its 98th annual convention recently in Rapid City. During the celebration an award luncheon was held to recognize affiliate society awards, in addition to SDAHO’s own Distinguished Service Awards (DSA).
