Martin resigns from TL School supt. post, board begins search process

The Timber Lake School Board has hired a Sioux Falls-based recruiting company to aid in its search for a new superintendent after current superintendent Dan Martin tendered his resignation last Wednesday, Nov.13, effective at the end of June 2025.

Jury acquits Colorado man charged in death of Standing Rock member

A jury last week acquitted a man charged with murder and assault following a deadly stabbing at a Fort Collins, CO, gas station in July of last year.Saman Zare was arrested in connection with the July 21, 2023 killing of Duane Brown, a member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in South Dakota.
