Youth Project to host Harvest Festival Dinner

The Cheyenne River Youth Project will host its 12th annual Harvest Festival Dinner at its Eagle Butte campus on Friday, Oct. 18.Held in conjunction with the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe’s Indian Child Welfare program, the free public event is scheduled for 6-8 p.m.

Eunice Straight Head, a member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, was crowned 2024-2025 Miss He Sapa Win at the annual Black Hills Pow Wow in Rapid City over the weekend. She is the daughter of Sianna Moran-White Bear Claws and Derrick Straight Head of Eagle Butte.
