Youth Project to host Harvest Festival Dinner

The Cheyenne River Youth Project will host its 12th annual Harvest Festival Dinner at its Eagle Butte campus on Friday, Oct. 18.Held in conjunction with the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe’s Indian Child Welfare program, the free public event is scheduled for 6-8 p.m.

Corrections

In the Oct. 10, 2024 edition of the Topic we incorrectly identified the cardboard cutout in Bruce Schweitzer’s yard in Timber Lake as Jason from the Halloween movie franchise. It is in fact Michael Myers from Halloween.

Bids, FO positions on TL city agenda

Amendment G would legalize abortion in South Dakota

If passed, Amendment G would enshrine the right to abortion in the South Dakota Constitution and supersede a 2005 state trigger law that took effect when Roe vs. Wade was overturned.
