Dewey County 4-H members exhibited their 4-H projects at the South Dakota State Fair in Huron. Projects were judged and displayed at this year’s State Fair from August 28-Sept. 2. Each 4-H member is allowed to enter up to six static exhibits at the State Fair.

Fair food has a reputation for being fried and expensive. But on Saturday, Aug. 31 during the South Dakota State Fair, fairgoers could buy lunch for only 48 cents – the profits farmers and ranchers receive for the ingredients.

Scholarships for Native American students at SETC

Native American students at Southeast Technical College in Sioux Falls, may be eligible for a $3,000$10,000 scholarship through a partnership with the South Dakota Native Homeownership Coalition (SDNHOC) and Lakota Funds.
