Cookie Contest raises funds for Ziebach Co. 4-H

The Ziebach County 4-H Achievement Day will be held on Thursday, August 1 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pioneer Hall in Dupree. Everyone is welcome to come and check out the 4-H projects.The annual Cookie and Bar Contest will be held to raise funds for the Ziebach County 4-H program.

Temperatures were in the high 90s on Saturday, July 27, but it wasn’t hot enough to stop the Days of 1910 Parade which rolled down Main Street mid-afternoon. Thirty-five entries made up this year’s procession, which began on the south end of town and went north to the big top tent on Main Street.
Chance and Merretta Anderson, shown with sons Gus and Hank, have purchased the former Masonic Lodge in Isabel and are currently remodeling the building to become the new home of Red Earth Table, an expansion of their already successful home-based bakery.
