Auctions raise money for 4-H and TL Daycare

At the live auction just before the Days of 1910 Talent Show on July 25, funds were raised for the Dewey County 4-H program and a new deck for the Timber Lake Community Daycare.Cookies from the cookie contest at the Dewey County Fair brought in $1270 for the 4-H program.

Paleontologists from the Black Hills Institute of Geological Research in Hill City stopped at the Timber Lake and Area Museum on July 18 to take a look at the fossil collection and other exhibits.

Gold Ticket Raffle winners

The Timber Lake Volunteer Fire Department held the drawing of their Gold Ticket Raffle at the Days of 1910 Demolition Derby.Winners were: Jayce Parker - $300 cash prize; Jody Pateneaude - DPMS Oracle AR-15 223; Rusty Gebhardt - deep freeze/meat package; Audrey Jackson - Ruger AR-15 223/5.
