Ten TLHS seniors earned Regents’ Scholar Diplomas. To receive the diploma students must complete four units of Language Arts, four units of Mathematics, four units of Science, three units of Social Studies, one unit of Fine Arts, and two units of Modern/Classical Language or Career & Technical Education.

O’Leary family awards two scholarships in memory of Jim

The family of the late James O’Leary presented scholarships and star quilts to Emma Johnston and Hayden Thompson of the TLHS Class of 2026. Jim graduated from Timber Lake High School in 2012.

Academic awards, 9-12 announced

Principal Julie Marshall announced the academic awards, including Top Scholars, for Grades 9-12 at Awards Days on May 6.HONORABLE MENTION HONOR ROLL 3.0-3.
For over 30 years, Dacotah Bank has offered scholarships to high school seniors whose families are customers of Dacotah Bank and Dacotah Insurance. Over $70,000 in scholarships were awarded this year throughout South Dakota, North Dakota, and Minnesota. Timber Lake senior Hailey Roggow (left) was presented with a $2,000 scholarship by Senior Ag Banker Fred Vogel (right) from the Dacotah Bank in Mobridge.
