Zebra mussels discovered on Lake Oahe structures, boat ramps

Late arriving winter weather has allowed South Dakota Game, Fish & Parks (GFP) crews more time for access improvements along the Missouri River. Crews have been busy surveying boat landings on Lake Oahe and working on improving conditions for the busy spring and summer fishing season.

The State’s Attorney’s tree was in first place, and the Director of Equalization tree was second. Each office has a tree displayed in the hallway, and voting (by cash donation) continues through December 29 with proceeds going to the Timber Lake Museum.
