Tipi builders

What better way to spend a bright fall day than building a tipi? Gathering rocks, boards, branches and twigs, this group of kids created a sturdy miniature tipi on a recent Saturday afternoon.

Public invited to vote for favorite Christmas trees

Voting begins Friday, Dec. 1 and ends Friday, Dec. 29 in the “Battle of the Offices” Christmas Tree Contest at the Dewey County Courthouse in Timber Lake. Office personnel are decorating trees to be displayed throughout the month. The public is invited to view the trees and choose a favorite.
