State Museum seeks input at Timber Lake October 11

Representatives of the S.D. State Museum (Cultural Heritage Center) at Pierre are coming to Timber Lake on Wednesday, October 11 to ask for input. Renovation of the facility is underway now and plans are being developed with Split Rock museum designers while the museum is closed.
Teri Gayer, longtime director at two Lutherans Outdoors camps, is leaving that ministry but is staying on as Vicar at United Parish in Timber Lake and UCC in Isabel (which comprise the Prairie Parish). She was honored at a special program July 22-23, which was also the 50th anniversary of Klein Ranch.

Teri Gayer moving on after 34 years in outdoor ministry

After 34 years spent in service to the Lutherans Outdoor camps, NeSoDak and Klein Ranch, Teri Gayer has decided it is time to retire from her role as director. She is leaving big shoes for her successor to fill.

Monday, October 9: Baked chicken, sweet potatoes, broccoli, applesauce, and bread. Tuesday, October 10: Pizza casserole, Italian vegetables, tropical fruit, and garlic bread. Wednesday, October 11: Pork roast, mashed potatoes w/gravy, peas and carrots, cranberry sauce, bread, and cake.

The Sacred Heart Parish of Dupree held their monthly 200 Club drawings Sunday, September 24 at the church hall following Holy Mass, and brunc. The September drawings begin the new year.
