Bridge City concerts announced

The Bridge City Concert Association has announced its line-up of entertainment for the 2023-2024 season. Jason Black performs Tuesday, November 14 and Divas3 will perform Sunday, February 25, both at 7:30 p.m. CT at the Mobridge-Pollock Middle School Theatre.
Second graders line up with the help of teacher Shanna Gebhardt on the first day of school at Timber Lake Elementary. Enrollment in the elementary school was at 196 the first week, up 30 from last year.

School district moving forward with $1.8 million HVAC project

Faced with an aging heating and cooling system in the school building, the Timber Lake School Board voted last Wednesday, Aug. 23, to move forward with a $1.8 million project to upgrade the district’s existing HVAC infrastructure.
