Estelle Cook and Cook Sisters Rambouillet honored

Far out in Western South Dakota you will find a small sheep ranch, Cook Sisters Rambouillet, owned and operated by Estelle Cook. Estelle Cook of Glad Valley was honored by the National Rambouillet Association at the Association’s show in Huron on June 23.

Meals on Wheels

Monday, July 17: Barbeque chicken on a bun, tater tots, mixed vegetables, and pears. Tuesday, July 18: Spanish rice with hamburger, refried beans, Corn O’Brien, tossed salad with tomato, peaches, and bread. Wednesday, July 19: Creamed chicken over a biscuit, beets, carrots, and cinnamon apples.

TRAIL CITY NEWS

Many people in Trail City and surrounding areas spent their Fourth of July in warm clothes due to the cold weather that day. Bill and Lynn Hahne attended Kelly Landis’s funeral last Saturday. All of their kids and grandkids were home for the Fourth and attended the funeral as well.
