Jess Schlosser appointed to TL city board seat

Tom Hermes was re-elected as president of the Timber Lake City Board at its annual reorganization meeting on May 8. Incumbent Jess Schlosser was appointed to the vacant seat for which no petitions were filed and was elected vicepresident.

The town of Isabel’s plans for long-overdue improvements to its sewer system were put on hold Monday, May 15, when the deadline to submit bids for the project passed without any contractors submitting quotes.

At the request of the American Legion Auxiliary the plants are red, white and blue. Pictured L-R are Megan Zeug, Isaac Zeug and Ada O’Leary planting flowers while Eli Zeug shelters them from the rain.

The Corson County Sheriff ’s Office reported on Saturday, May 6, that it had been made aware of a post circulating on Facebook regarding a male from McIntosh allegedly attempting to entice a juvenile female into committing sexual acts using social media.
