Trig Olson wins Winter Show steer wrestling

Prairie City cowboy Trig Olson captured top honors in steer wrestling at the 2023 North Dakota Winter Show held March 10-11 in Valley City, ND. Olson had a 4.5 second run to win the crown and pocket first place prize money of $1,179.

Most of the people of Trail City have been staying home to keep warm and take care of calves as calving season is underway. Last week, Judy Hintz was in Rapid City with Gary Vance for a couple of days. They stayed with Gary’s daughter, LeAnn.
