Corson County Sheriff Alan Dale January 30 9:28 p.m. responded to a fight at a business in McLaughlin. February 1 2:11 p.m. responded to a business in McLaughlin for a panic alarm. It was found to be a false alarm. 6:12 p.m. responded to a report of a fight at a residence in Bullhead.

Rep. Lesmeister reports from State House

This week in Pierre we have been busy. Personally, most of my time was being in House State Affairs Committee, working through some very tough bills. We had several bills brought forward from landowners and landowner associations to revisit a lot of South Dakota’s eminent domain laws.

NSU releases fall 2022 dean’s list

Northern State University in Aberdeen has released the dean’s list for the fall 2022 semester. Students who have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average for the semester are eligible for the dean’s list. Colton (Hank) Kraft and Zoe Olson, both of Timber Lake, are on the dean’s list.
