P-T Conferences

Friday, February 17 will be a day off school for students and teachers at Timber Lake. Teachers will have parent-teacher conferences on Wednesday and Thursday, February 15 and 16 from 4-7 p.m. Timber Lake will have school on Presidents Day, Monday, February 20.

CRST special primary election slated April 25

The Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe’s (CRST) Office of the Tribal Secretary last week posted notice that a special primary election will be held on Tuesday, April 25, for the purpose of nominating candidates for three unexpired terms on the tribal council.

SHERIFF’S REPORT

Corson County Sheriff Alan Dale January 16 10:39 a.m. responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the McLaughlin area. 3:40 p.m. received a report of horses out on Highway 63, on the north side of McLaughlin. 10:25 p.m.

Dupree High School seniors Shayna Farlee and Emily Olsen were among those selected to serve as a legislative pages for the 2023 legislative season in Pierre. Olsen goes into the position with experience since she was also a page in Pierre last winter as a junior in high school.
