Two days have been selected as snow make-up days at Timber Lake School. Classes will be in session on Monday, January 16, which had been designated as a holiday for Martin Luther King Day, and Monday, February 20, which had been designated as a Presidents Day holiday.

Three students hired as tutors

Three Timber Lake High School students will have part-time jobs for the remainder of the school year after being hired as tutors during the Timber Lake School Board meeting on Dec. 14. The meeting was held via Zoom due to severe weather and hazardous travel conditions.

Isabel sewer surcharge to be increased incrementally

Hoping to lessen the impact of a new sewer surcharge that will go into effect Jan. 1, 2023, the Isabel Board of Trustees voted last week to increase the fee quarterly over the next year. The surcharge, which will eventually cost sewer system users in Isabel $27.90 per month or an additional $334.
